Uptown Girl

So now it's down to two birthday party ideas... Stella's Candy Bar or Fancy Nancy!  I really want to do the Fancy Nancy birthday, but I am afraid it may be a little lost on her... she is just now getting into dressing up like a princess.  Sometimes she loves crowns and tutus... other times, not so much!  And it would be a non-princess day on her birthday, i'm sure.  I think she may like it better next year!  The candy bar would be fun, and pretty simple.  What kid doesn't like candy? Especially 2 year olds.  I guess the kids will get hopped up on sugar and then we'll send them home to terrorize their parents!  haha!  Well what do you guys think?

Hi! You don't know me but I'm Jessica Garman's roomie... You MUST do the Candy party... my friend just did one for her daughter, and it turned out AMAZING. She is on my blog- "A Man and Three Little Ladies"... She has a post about it- it was in December. Jess has my number so if you have any questions let me know. I went over to see her house decorated and all the ideas, and it was the cutest party idea I've ever seen. Good luck!!

I am the person that did the candy party that both Jennifer and Christina are referring to. I saw your question on Jennifer's blog so thought I would just leave you a comment. 1st off, it was such a fun party to plan and decorate for. I got a TON of stuff @Hobby Lobby. I used round styrofoam discs that I spray painted and used wooden dowels for the suckers. And round styrofoam balls that I also spray painted for the candy. The candy buffet was a big hit as well. If you have any questions feel free to leave me a comment! My 3-yr old still talks about her candy party, she just loved it.
