Feeling better

Well, Stella finally gave in and let me take her to the doctor on Wednesday. She had been sick since Saturday and wasn't getting any better! She weighed 17 lbs. 12 oz. (Holding at 17 for awhile now) and they said she had a double ear infection and thrush. Poor little baby! Even though she was feeling so bad she was still so sweet and smiley. She just wants to play play play! Well, with the amoxicillin and nystatin we are on the way to a healthy tiny again. Yeah!

Early Mornings

Stella is an early bird like her daddy, so she is our personal alarm clock every day! Stella was sick all weekend, so we are still getting over that. Her little voice is hoarse, so I don't even recognize her babbles and cries! She still lets us know EXACTLY what she wants somehow! This is a little girl who knows exactly what she wants, and she wants it NOW!! At least I still get to pick her clothes.....

It is coming up on a year since Stella was born, and I have been doing a lot of reminiscing. What a whirlwind these past ten months have been! From her first smile, to her first giggle, to her first little step today! She is crawling faster than I can walk, pulling up and cruising everywhere! She says mama, daddy, hi and bye and her giggles melt my heart! She has changed so much, and it really does get more and more wonderful. This baby girl is the light of my life, and I am so thankful for her and my wonderful husband, family and great friends. Life is good!
